In light of the forthcoming Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha event in Ayodhya scheduled for January 22, 2024, celebrations will take place nationwide. Recognizing the significance of this occasion, the central government has made arrangements to facilitate the participation of employees in the festivities.
As a result, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will observe a half-day closure, concluding at 2:30 P.M. on January 22, 2024. This decision aims to allow employees the opportunity to engage in and partake in the celebrations surrounding the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha event.
This directive, issued through the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) Office Memorandum, ensures that employees have the flexibility to join in the commemoration of this significant cultural event.
