OLD GOA: After almost a month, the Old Goa police in collaboration with the Indian navy divers, Indian Coast Guard and fire personnel resumed search operations from Monday, September 30, for 22-year-old Gujarat businessman Bashudev Bhandari, who vanished after his car plunged into the river at St Estevam. The search operation will included deep sea exploration and drone surveillance ended without success on Monday. His family refused to believe he drowned, claiming he was good swimmer.
The authorities were trying their best to find clues leading to the traces of the missing youth. With the help of the modern technology, the officers are using drones and deep sea exploration with underwater cameras to find Bashudev.
Several questions linger with regards to the case as it has been over a month since Bashudev’s disappearance. Is he dead? If yes then where is the body and why can’t the police and navy officers unable to find him?

The incident had occurred late Saturday night of 31st August and wees hours of Sunday 1st September. The car was driven by Bashudev accompanied by a female friend who was a student from the Goa Management Institution in Sankhali. According to victim girl, they met with accident with sedan car at Marcel at around 01.05 hrs. The occupant of sedan car chased them closely post which their swift car plunged into river.

According to the girl who was with Bashudev during the incident had stated that she had seen Bashudev getting out of the car, but when the girl swam back to ferry ramp, Bahsudev was nowhere to be seen. After retrieving the car from the river, police had also found Bashudev’s pants with belt intact and his laptop.
Did Bhashudev swim back safely that night? If yes, then where is he? Did the river crocodiles consume the body? If yes, then where are the remains of the body? No trace of Bashudev was found after the tragedy. In this swarm of questions regarding Bashudev’s disappearance, the major question still remains unanswered, that is, where is Bhashudev Bhandari?
