Kalaktang, Sep 16: In a significant step towards enhancing digital education in remote areas, the Indian Army has established a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure room at the Government Senior Secondary School in Kalaktang, West Kameng district, under Operation Sadbhavana. This initiative reflects the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational development and digital literacy in the region.
The facility aims to bridge the digital divide and promote a more interactive and engaging learning environment for students. The School Headmaster, Osup Tasar, expressed that the new IT room will significantly enhance the school’s educational capabilities. Students will now have the opportunity to learn and grow in a digital environment, preparing them for the future workforce. Access to modern technology and digital tools will empower students, broaden their horizons, and equip them for future challenges.
This initiative aligns with the Indian government’s vision of “Digital India,” promoting digital inclusion and empowering students in remote and underserved areas with access to technology and quality education. (DIPRO)
