Visakhapatnam:Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) of the Indian Army are continuing their ongoing flood-relief operations in Kakinada district.
QRTs, equipped with boats, provided essential services and support to the local population in villages of Marlawa and Kandrakota on Wednesday.
An army medical camp has been set up in Marlawa village to address the health needs of residents. Another army medical team provided medical assistance to 131 villagers of Rajupalem.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Rajupalem on Wednesday and interacted with the Indian Army team. He expressed his gratitude and appreciated army’s relentless service and dedication to the community while undertaking flood-relief operations.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is also undertaking rescue and relief operations in the flood-hit Kakinada district.
