Navy SSC Officer Bharti 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

General Service / Hydrography: Candidates should hold a B.E / B.Tech in any field, achieving at least a 60% score.
Air Traffic Control / Naval Air Operations Officer / Pilot: Applicants must possess a B.E / B.Tech across any discipline, ensuring a minimum of 60% overall marks. Furthermore, they should have obtained a 60% aggregate in both class X and XII, with at least 60% in English in either grade.
Logistics: Eligibility extends to those with a B.E / B.Tech in any specialization, an MBA with distinction, a B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc IT, and a postgraduate diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management. Alternatively, candidates holding an MCA / M.Sc in Information Technology with distinction are also eligible.
Education Sector: Mandatory qualification involves an M.Sc in Mathematics / Operations Research with a B.Sc in Physics or M.Sc in Physics / Applied Physics / Chemistry meeting a 60% minimum in Math during their B.Sc. Alternatively, a B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or an M.Tech in Manufacturing / Production Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering/ Material Science requires a minimum of 60% marks.
Engineering Branch [General Service]: A minimum of 60% in B.E / B.Tech degrees in Mechanical or Mechanical with Automation, Marine, IT, Computers, Instrumentation, Production, Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering & Management, Control Engineering, Aerospace, Automobiles, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control.
Naval Constructor: Qualifications include a B.E / B.Tech with at least 60% in Mechanical / Mechanical with Automation, Civil, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Metallurgy, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ship Technology, Ship Building, or Ship Design disciplines.

Indian Naval Force SSC Officer Selection Process

The selection process for SSC Officer in the Navy involves several stages. Initially, applications are shortlisted based on normalized scores from the qualifying degree examination. For Engineering Graduates, marks up to the 5th semester are considered, whether they’ve completed their degree or are in their final year. For Postgraduates, including those with M.Sc, MCA, MBA, and M.Tech degrees, scores from all semesters are evaluated for shortlisting for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. Applicants must prove they’ve finished their qualifying degree with at least a 60% average before being considered for the final merit list.
