JEE Advanced, INCET, And WB SET Results And Cut-off Scores Released

Candidates can now access 2024-2025 examination results including JEE Advanced and Indian Navy cut-offs.

Hyderabad: The 2024-2025 examination season is gearing up as various academic milestones approach, with examination results and cut-off scores announced for pivotal assessments like the JEE Advanced, Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET), and the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET).

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced, scheduled for May 18, 2025, is poised to attract hundreds of thousands of candidates across the country. Only those who secured the top 2.5 lakh ranks in the JEE Mains 2025 paper – I for BE/BTech can participate. The exam will be conducted at 13 centers across Telangana, including Hyderabad, Warangal, and Karimnagar.

Registration for the JEE Advanced will open from April 23 to May 2, with the exam fee due by May 5 at 5 pm. Candidates must note the fee structure: Rs 1600 for female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates, and Rs 3200 for all other applicants. Two sessions of the entrance exam will be held on the day of the examination, with Paper 1 from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Eligible candidates can download their admit cards between May 11 and May 18.

Regarding age eligibility, candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000. Certain categories, like SC, ST, and PwD, are entitled to a five-year relaxation, hence eligible candidates born on October 1, 1995, qualify.

Meanwhile, candidates awaiting the INCET 2024 results can look to the Indian Navy as it gears up to release its cut-off scores. The INCET is organized for recruitment to positions such as Chargeman, Senior Draughtsman, and Tradesman Mate, with selection based on the written examination and subsequent document verification.

Experts are predicting cut-off scores based on participant feedback, with the official cut-off to be announced after the results and answer key’s release. According to insights from the previous year, the Tradesman Mate cut-off for Unreserved (UR) candidates ranged between 73-75%, OBC candidates needed scores between 69-71%, and SC and ST candidates had lower cut-offs of 64-66% and 59-61%, respectively.

For interested candidates, checking the INCET 2024 results can be done via the Indian Navy’s official site, where they can enter their application number, date of birth, and captcha code to retrieve their results. Notably, tie-breaking criteria if candidates achieve the same total score will prioritize based on age, with older candidates taking precedence.

On another front, the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) is bracing to announce the WB SET Cut-off for its 26th examination. The cut-off will encompass all 33 subjects and be categorized across various demographics, including General, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and Transgender categories. Eligible candidates will be determined based on merit, with only 6% making it to the final list as per UGC guidelines.

The WBCSC’s cut-off determination involves assessing the total number of candidates who appeared, the number of vacancies, and setting subject-wise thresholds accordingly. Candidates should prepare for outcomes reflecting varying high-entry requirements: General and EWS candidates must secure at least 40% total marks, whereas SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Transgender candidates require 35%.

Following the results, candidates can easily access the WB SET cut-off marks by visiting the WBCSC’s official website and locating the relevant cutoff link for their respective category and subject. This will help them understand their standing and the competitive environment they’re facing.

These upcoming examination results and detailed cut-offs serve as pivotal milestones for candidates pursuing academic and professional opportunities across various disciplines and sectors. Therefore, keeping updated with accurate information is imperative for those vying for limited spots on academic rolls or professional positions.
