In a significant step towards enhancing joint operational readiness and inter-service synergy, the Tri-Services Exercise Poorvi Prahar is scheduled to be conducted from 10 to 18 November 2024 in the Eastern Theatre. This comprehensive exercise will involve the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, focusing on joint operations in challenging mountainous terrain.

The exercise will showcase a wide range of advanced platforms and assets from all three services. These includes:

– Fighter and Reconnaissance Aircraft
– Helicopters such as Chinook and Advanced Light Helicopter (Rudra)
– M777 Ultra-Light Howitzer Artillery Systems
– In addition, the exercise will leverage cutting-edge technologies like Swarm Drones, First Person View (FPV) Drones, and Loiter Munitions, which are revolutionizing modern warfare by enhancing situational awareness, precision, and agility.

To further streamline operations, joint control structures will be established, enabling the development of a refined Common Operating Picture (COP). This will optimize the use of satellite communications and AI-driven analytics, ensuring seamless coordination across services.

Poorvi Prahar underscores the importance of integrated operations in addressing contemporary challenges and reaffirms the commitment of the Indian Armed Forces to safeguarding national security through jointmanship and technological innovation.
